there are stains on my kitchen knife...leftover food?
my favorite knife is ruined because my boyfriend used it to cut summer sausage, and he left it sitting near the sink. it looks as though it's almost a rust colored stain. is there anything I can do to get it off, and clean again. the knife is a kitchenaid, and i think it's stainless steel
Stain might come off with a dab of cleanser like soft scrub; if you don't use commercial cleansers, try polishing it with baking soda, or a paste made with baking soda and lemon juice. If the stain is particularly stubborn, leave the lemon juice/baking soda solution on the knife for about 30 minutes, then polish again.
