Can a martial artist or soldier weapons give advice?
Dear reader, I learned the use of weapons DVD.Namely side, I am interested in the knife, stick and nunchaku.Could a knife skills really come through DVD, or Filipino Martial Arts will be better? The same question applies to about nunchaku baton.As I ask is Practical? Finally, please recommend some video if possible, and feel more than welcome to give advice.Thank you. Jeremy
You can not learn weapon from a DVD. You can learn a dance of weapons, but learning how to use effectively arms really take instructions or at least a good basic knowledge of fighting. It does not matter that gun you try to learn it's all the same. Guns are not toys and it is not advisable to "Playing" with them you are doing if you learn from a DVD. DVD may not be accurate if you're doing it wrong and by the time you realize you did it wrong the more likely you will have clobbered yourself or cut yourself if you're playing with a knife.
