Question about German gravity knives.?
Last year I recived a German gravity knife for my birthday.It says no ware on it made in Germany.It is green plastic and the blade is stainless steel on the blade it has the letters WMF and on the handle it says Bund and on the opposite side as the blade there is a folding spike.
I asked around a little about this knife I was told it is German Army Issue,But from 99 to 02 I was in the Army and stationed in Germany my unit had a partnership with a German unit I know what there issue knives\bayonets look like.Is this knife I have a German Knife or is it somthing else.
I have one identical to it. It's a German Army Paratrooper knife. Issued to German soldiers to cut parachute rigging in case of emergencies. I have an actual pair of German Army Jump Boots that have a built in pocket that the knife is stored in when not in use..Pretty Cool...I understand these originals are worth some money too, but I wouldn't part with mine.
