We had several requests for information on installing carpet on the boat. First, I give information that the installation of marine carpet must be installed by a professional installer. In addition, this guide is to glue down the only boat carpet, snap-in carpet mats can only be done by specialist appropriate tools. Now that we have that out of the way ... Here is a list of needed tools.

Start in a corner of carpet gripping pliers. Gently withdraw slowly so as not to tear the carpet. After the old floor is completely pulled out, set aside for later. Use a scraper to remove other dry carpet adhesive from the boat. If it does not work, try using a piece of sandpaper. But it is not overboard and ruin the bottom of the boat.
Now, get new carpet and roll it. If it is stiff and curling, left in the sun for a bit to soften. Now flip the carpet on the ground is so simple. Overtop of the old carpet is backing up as well. Use a marker and trace out the old carpet on top of new carpet. Once you do that, Use a knife or scissors to cut out carpet.
