Can and is it legal for you to buy an OTF switchblade knife KIT and have it shipped to you from out of state?
The Federal Switchblade Act prohibits the shipping out of state any switchblade knife over state lines. This is a kit not a knife is it legal? Link to he Official text of the Federal Switchblade Act below.

Better check your state laws first. Even if it being disassembled passes muster with the ATF, it may not pass muster in your state.
In my state having the parts to assemble an illegal weapon is the same as having an assembled weapon.
